I am currently working on an associates degree in business management/financial investment?
(I will continue on afterword for my bachelors)... Im needing to know what financial companies to look into that will offer me the opportunity to gain more experience in Finanacial planning/investment/advising. I guess which companies are Associate degree friendly? I am already set to apply for an internship with Edward Jones but are than any others?

- You will hve a hard time prior to be a student at a regular college. AA's don't carry any weight and are not counted as degrees. The problem with them as that ANYONE qualifies in the US, they are free education.
- If you like a cult type atmosphere I suggest trying Primerica....they seem to think they're the best trainers. People I have met who work their are like devout Primericans.
- Here is the catch 22 of college, I have a 4 yr degree, graduated in "05" as a Paralegal, with a double minor, one in English the other in Political Science. I have not been able to find a job in my field, because I have no EXPERIENCE, even though I did my intern ship with the local District Attorney's office, which apparently don't count for crap. Now lets see I have well over 50k in student loans, no job that I should qualify for and I am about to turn 39, so hope you have better luck then I have.

- When working on your bachelors try finding a school that has many job opportunities around the area so you can have a great chance of finding internships. Another issue is make sure your credit is in good shape as many companies in the finance sector are now weighing applicants credit report in their hiring decisions though it may seem of little importance you will be surprised how some companies rely on the information. Another is your criminal background be smart about your lifelong goals and stay clear of any trouble that will blemish your record.. I recommend that you continue and get a masters as Bachelors are becoming a dime a dozen and even if you don't continue on to graduate school try hard to obtain a high GPA and participate in all school activities and groups that will help improve your career and help you standout from all other students. Best wishes!
